Yes, everyone in the world has a camera, and I know your cellphone can take great pictures. However you may want something better than that selfie you took in the bathroom for your professional branding at work.
That's what I do. I bring confident posing, real smiles, and high quality, professional photographs that show you at your best. I'm not just pushing a button, I am crafting a story about you in each image I take.
Congratulations if you are engaged and planning your nuptials. I used to photograph weddings, but no longer photograph them. There are well over 3000 photographers in the Charlotte Area. I would be happy to refer you to a few very dependable photographers, but I no longer shoot them myself.
Sure do! Contact me, I'm happy to set up a shoot specific to your desired outcome. I especially love family portraits in the Fall around the mountains, or the beach in the Spring. Sun rise or sunset, funny or serious, I'm here to capture who you are. I have a pretty laid back approach, and G rated dad jokes for the kids.
Portrait shoots are $200 per hour, typically taking 1 hour. Price includes editing and finishing of images for client.
Yes, I shoot professional portraits. I do not shoot in studio though, instead prefer to come to you for maximum convenience for you and your staff. I can arrange a number of poses, both indoors or outside. Portraits are $75 per person, however groups of 10 or more are $50 per person.
We live in a digital world. My service is unique as I focus on providing you with high and/or web resolution digital images as a default. If you want prints, we can add those on to your shoot at the end when we review the images.
It depends on the shoot.
- Portrait sessions, it's about an hour and a half. (I arrive about 20-30 minutes early for setup and scouting of location, shoot for an hour, breakdown.)
- Head shots can take less time, at about 30-45 minutes. (Arriving early, setup and scouting, shooting for about 15-20 minutes, break down)
- Portrait Builders and video productions, it depends on the scope of the project, but I will be clear on expectations of time before we shoot.
Just email or call, and have the image number ready.

Buy them both. It's okay, you'll be glad you did. You've been meaning to replace that $20 Starry Night you bought years ago out of that sales guy's car trunk anyway.
Absolutely. Your portfolio needs a variety of looks that shows your range and capabilities. These shoots are reserved for models or up-and-coming models just starting out. Once we establish the kind of work you want to go after, we can tailor shoots around that to give your portfolio the punch it needs to get you bookings.
Call for pricing. Price does includes editing and finishing of digital proofs.
A few weeks. Yes, it takes time to edit and my schedule is typically pretty busy. I tend to shoot a wide variety of shots, and I need to cull them, color correct, remove blemishes or that piece of lettuce stuck in your spouse's teeth for half the shoot. The finished set of images may contain a mixture of color, black and white, and selective color images. An alternately colored version of a photo may be purchased at the current rate. Limited color correction and/or retouching are included. Client may request further changes for an additional charge.
For a photo or video shoot, I accept cash, check, and money transfer apps like Zelle, Paypal, or Venmo. All print sales are done through the Fine Art America E-commerce site, and require a credit card or Paypal for payment.
For a photo or video shoot, payment is required within 24hrs of the shoot. No deposit required unless stated. On special occasions, I will accept payment on the day of the shoot, but typically I find it better to get it out of the way before hand, so we can focus on the shoot itself.

Forms of payments not accepted: Trade for Exposure, Food, Personal Favors, your daughter's hand in marriage. Thank you, but I'm married already.
High-resolution and web-ready proofs may be obtained through various avenues. File sharing apps such as Dropbox, Google Drive, etc. are available. Client may also purchase a thumb drive with all finished high and low resolution images on it. Prints for select sizes are available, and price is dependent on size and accessories for print (matting, framing, etc.). I am not responsible for any prints that are not ordered directly from me. For best results, clients with the high-resolution files should order their prints through a reputable lab.
I am just a man with a camera. And lights. And a microphone... standing in front of a client.
The question is really, what do YOU need? I can do interviews, film events, big or small. It's best is we talk about the scope of your project, and plan out exactly what you're looking for in a cameraman, post-productionist, voice over guy. Check out my Video Portfolio to see some of the work I've done.
No one likes a cancellation, but sometimes things happen. In the event a customer needs to reschedule, I will work with them to find a solution that best fits for all parties. Any monies paid will be reallocated to the new shoot date. If a customer cancels the shoot completely 3 days prior to the shoot, all monies paid will be refunded. However less than 3 days prior to the shoot will result in only a 50% refund of any monies paid.
If I need to cancel or reschedule a shoot, every attempt will be made to reschedule with the client. If the shoot is an event that cannot be rescheduled, I will make every effort to find a comparable replacement photographer that can do the event. If the client has not paid me, they may pay the new photographer directly. If payment has already been made, I will arrange to pay them directly for the shoot. Every effort will be made to make the client feel whole.
No, I do not share, give, or sell my Raw photos or footage. Ever.
I retain ownership and copyright of the photos I take. I give high resolution digital files of your images so that you can print them as you like. I give web-ready images for your share on social media, without watermarks, so that the focus is on you. I do kindly ask that when you share your images on social media, that you please tag me.
Manipulation of the images (recoloring, distorting, or any other manipulation) is prohibited.
I do however respect your privacy, and will ask for your permission, via a photo release form, asking permission to use the photos on my website, social media, etc. I will not share, display or use the photos I take of you, your family, employees, without everyone's permission.
Yes. I use a RAID 5 system as a first line backup device. It's the most secure way I could find to keep photos and video safe from drive failure. I also take advantage of online storage and additional solutions when needed. I will keep photos for a minimum of 5 years. I do reserve the ability to destroy raw images after that point, but continue to save finished JPGs for longer.
